Performer, model, photographer.
After spending years on the stage in many performances as an actress, she has been active as a butoh dancer both in Japan and internationally.
She was also involved in producing theatre plays, opera recitals, photo exhibitions and the like.
She has recently been in charge of coordinating and interpreting at numerous overseas conventions, guest workshops and ceremonies as well as modeling for renowned photographers in Asia and Europe and doing artistic photography herself.
From means of expression like theatre, installations, moving image, photography to symbolic genres like stage plays, dance and modeling, Sana is obsessed with “ephemeral in-the-moment” art activity that “does not lie” and is not imprisoned by limits of physical borders, language, age or sex.
